Everyone deserves the tools to map out the landscapes of their desires.

What is Intimate Cartographies?

Intimate Cartographies houses the writing, artwork, and workshops of me, A. Grand Mark, a white, disabled, queer advocate, educator, artist, writer, and comic nerd based down in Texas.

My work is about self-discovery, self-knowledge, and connecting with others by connecting with ourselves.

Our body-minds are landscapes, both physical and psychic, and so many of the lessons we're taught culturally trick us into believing our desires and needs are a wilderness to be feared or controlled.

But our landscapes are not a wild unknown, they are a blooming forgotten, waiting for us to reconnect.

I cannot draw you the map to find yourself, but I can share the skills I've learned to discover those hollows and plains, the little grottos in your heart.

We all deserve to know our cartographies, and I hope my work helps bring you closer to yours, bit by bit.

Building a More Connected World

The path to queer liberation has a place for each of us, and we cannot get there if we’re not pushing against white supremacy and if our work is not accessible and based in principles of disability justice. Whether you’re looking for trainings for your organization or workplace, or need a consultant, let’s talk.
